    I agree that we should aim to reduce suffering of all. But in doing so, it is important to first focus on the causes of inequality which is discrimination. In this case, it should be recognised that teenagers are not the same as children - as in fact they are more similar to adults.

    For a more equal society, inherent ageism will do more harm and the reduction of suffering will be just for show. It is important to apply a methodological approach to true equality and as it stands, individuals should be identified precisely and non-discriminatory.
