WhatsApp is Meta and should be avoided as much as possible, but there are some countries where it’s everywhere.
I just looked up a flat rental for summer, got contacted by the agency on Whatsapp. I’m not going to try to convert a real estate agent to Delta chat or Signal.
It’s also more popular with older folks who this phone probably targets.
