April, a french NGO that promote free software in France, did this small strike to protest against the planned obsolescence of windows’s computers.

    They are protesting against windows planned obsolescence. It will make millions computers unusable.

    And they also promote switching to linux :)

    I’m translating some part of the video so that you can understand their message better :

    • on the coffin : 300 millions of computers
    • Farewell Windows, Hello to Free Software
    • don’t waste/bury computers, free them

      Okay, so basically the 2nd thing I mentioned. Not that Windows is totally going extinct as an OS. (altho that might be a nice idea, hehe)

        Sadly, i’m Deaf so i can’t transcript the speech in the video but they probably talked about the environment’s impact & free software. Alternatiba is NGO that fight against climate change similar to greenpeace.

        Anyway, i hope it will give us some ideas. :)
