    Jesus, what did google break this time? My pixel 9 pro is still on 15 (because reasons); it charges plenty quick and the camera doesn’t freeze.

    It’s odd that the Pixel 6s are not receiving this patch, even though they are supposed to be supported until October (and July 2027 for the 6a)

        That was the initial thought, but the 6 and 7 series got consecutive updates earlier this year, and this month’s update includes the 7a (but nothing earlier).

        I think it’s just a case of limited resources. “These devices failed our monthly update testing, so let’s hold the update until next month”.

        I guess this is how Google has chosen to support older devices. Can’t complain too much, since Google extended the support window when they didn’t need to, but the missing security updates are a tad concerning.
