I came across this calculator app the other day while browsing through F-Droid, and it’s my new favourite calculator app.

I’ve always wanted something like Speedcrunch on mobile, since I think this format works much better on digital screens. Without physical buttons, I don’t find much of a benefit from using a skeuomorphic layout (looking like a physical calculator). Unless you get very familiar with a particular calculator app, it is slow to use for anything complicated.

I haven’t had a chance to explore all of the functions this app has, but the biggest one for me was variables. When I’m outside and I need to calculate something with multiple steps, it’s very helpful to be able to assign variables and then use them in subsequent calculations.
