    I’m sure this is completely unrelated to android’s recent decision to require all app developers to register with google, even if they aren’t distributing apps through the google play store: https://keepandroidopen.org/

    Shizuku was how I was thinking of bypassing this for now, taking advantage of the local ADB connection and then using that to install apps instead of the normal package installation flow. But it looks like they want to take that away too.

      I think a change like this could benefit Google as it goes well along their new Sideloading changes, but I do not actively believe this is what is going on here. There is a true, valid reason behind this, and I think two different approach can be taken. We will talk about it in this blog post.
