Companies may send emails to [companyname]@noreply.net or similar variations believing they aren’t going anywhere, or could not be monitored in any way. Broadly it’s also possible that they may transform a person’s individual email address to send to one of these placeholder style domains if someone leaves a company or deletes their account.

    Damn. People are genuinely stupid.

tl;dr: stop using domains you don’t own, either use your own or use standard example or invalid domains

no-reply emails piss me off so much. Completely abused by businesses and are totally unprofessional. spam type things like adverts and newsletters. thats fine. trying to force a one way communication system in business transactions. WTF!

just give all businesses that don’t actually need email, a no reply email that auto replies to everything they say with a bs contract about how them receiving the email is them accepting the terms of my contract and gives me the full legal right to their company, and to opt out they must reply to the no reply email
