Can you still disable that on current versions of the OS? I’m not really up to date on Windows. But I remember that it caused no end of trouble when I dual booted it semi-regularly, so I removed it all the time (it had a habit of turning itself back on for some reason).
Nowadays it seems that you have access to fewer options. I should boot a copy of Windows to see what it looks like, it’s been a while.
