This is pretty funny. Probably useless but that’s the point, right?

As the pandemic teached us, C suits are the most disposable workers. The ones that can be automated away.
open source AI politician coming in 3… 2… 1…
With Ai CEOs and Ai politicians, we can fully automate bribery.
…tbh, if the standard we’re holding it to is that it’s only gotta be better than the majority of human politicians, then we could have passed the torch to “AI” back in the 90s and just let Clippy run the country.
This comment is made in full acknowledgment that Clippy was shit. But compared to like Trump or one of his mini-Nazis? Yeah I’d vote Clippy in a heartbeat.
Same applies to the modernized steaming pile of excrement we’re calling “AI”. I’d trust ChatGPT with running our country over the current administration any day.
Clippy gets a lot more crap than they should. I think people forget that Office 97 was many people’s first time using a graphical word processor and for some their first time using a mouse. Those who bought machines just a couple years prior when Word first came to Windows weren’t ready to upgrade yet. So those who had some experience usually had it in older DOS based programs where mouse support was hit and miss, but most were coming from typewriters or nothing at all. Clippy was actually pretty good a bouncing around the screen and showing people what to click on to do things or even just walking people through the things they could do.
I thought the cool 80’s Boneitis guy from Futursma had already perfected automating the CEO
Finally a useful LLM application. Just think of all the jet fuel you’ll save like this!
So, do you feed it all the information about the history and mission of the company, along with the current financials and the relevant societal and industry trends, as well as the information necessary to understand company personnel relationships and the rivalry/cooperation with other local businesses?
Or do you take it on like a Boss’s Nephew who knows nothing and thinks he’s a Titan of Industry?
Yes, they demo that towards the end of the video.
It is fairly credible looking, I’m sure there will be people who take this seriously and try to make it work IRL.
do you feed it all the information about the history and mission of the company, along with the current financials and the relevant societal and industry trends, as well as the information necessary to understand company personnel relationships and the rivalry/cooperation with other local businesses?
Yes and then you give it all of the top-level credentials, access to all the company’s proprietary information, and all of the bank accounts and company credit cards.
Nothing could possibly go wrong.
One of the few legitimate labels of LLMs as ‘AI’ is Amplified Incompetence, as per the Peter principle.
Couldn’t be anymore useless than real CEOs
Now, someone do VCs.
This is smart! An objective and knowledgable boss - I like it
What goes around, comes around
