I want a good app ecosystem that has basic android replacements. I tried Fossify apps but I dont know I didnt like them. I ve tried some MA apps and so far they look clean enough, I just wanna know if there are any flaws or issues with them that would make me wanna reconsider

That’s a whole lot of apps for 1 dude to be making (45 + more to come) and maintaining. Are these “vibe coded”? If they are, I wouldn’t put much stock in them being maintained for long.
Nothing super crazy. Maybe they hide it well?
They do have “MA Localassistant” app which is LLM related. So maybe?
EDIT: I am like 90% sure it is slop coded. The style of the apps is weird looking, not fully consistent between apps, and the quality seems kinda low. Many apps have thin 1-2 pixel boarders that remind me of other LLM produced things.
Plus many of the apps have unnecessary Network permissions. And one app called MA Cast claims it doesn’t need internet access but has full Network permission anyways.
Those are pretty much my concerns as well, and the reason I only use his PDF reader app. I’m not willing to commit to a whole range of apps when they’ve only been actively developed for six months (? That’s when I noticed them).
Especially these days when too many projects don’t openly declare or actively try to conceal vibe coding…
I’d probably recommend the GOS app instead for PDFs:
Music assistant?
So weird that they wouldn’t include the full name :D
On F-droid, those 20+ apps are effectively branded as “MA”, with similar b/w icons, so if that’s your only window on Android apps, I guess it would be natural to assume other people know the term and what it refers to 🤷
I dunno, I just happened to know what OP meant 🙂
