So I self-host a CalDAV server and I make a lot of use of the VJOURNAL feature. The problem is, I use it on my phone with jtx Board + Davx5, and typing on it isn’t the most comfortable experience (even tho i use flickboard). And I can’t really find any software of that kind that would support my Linux PC.

So are there any programs for GNU/Linux that support VJOURNAL syncing? I’d preferably have it in my terminal and in nixpkgs but it’s not necessary

So, is there such program? Or do I have to write something myself, or PR VJOURNAL support to something like vdirsyncer? If yes, could you provide some resources?

Edit: turns out vdirsyncer does support vjournal so I guess I’ll just write a front-end for it

      Thx but those don’t use vdirsyncer and I already use some other programs with it. I guess I’ll write something myself then 🤷

      ChronCal is almost certainly vibe-coded, given that it adds instructions for Omarchy specifically. CalCLI includes a web-app interface, which makes it easier to use, and potentially self-hostable.

    I’m in a similar position - I rarely use VJournal myself, only the dedicated tasks manager, so I can’t help with this for now.
