The new Googlebook models featuring Google's new operating system for laptops have been on the market since last week. We take a closer look at Googlebook OS and explain what it can do and where it (still) has limitations.
In our view, however, the premium positioning of the new Googlebook models is problematic. While you get good hardware, prices start at around €1,200, and for that price the new Googlebook operating system is very limited. There are plenty of Windows or macOS alternatives (such as the MacBook Air) that also let you use all the Google apps while providing a full-fledged operating system.
Indeed.
