I don’t see why I’d need to spend more than $300 on a phone. These prices baffle me and I’d be better off buying a computer for this. I’m lucky with a great deal on my current 9 Pro XL but I’ll wait it out for another great deal, these prices are dumb.
Phone market is quite empty unfortunately. Only good options I know is Fairphones but they have lots of drawbacks like price, online bl unlocking, etc.
Nothing phones are also quite good, they are somewhat repairable and not intentionally enshittified.
P9 will probably be my last. I dunno what will replace it but hopefully I got 5 years to think about it, and for something better to come along.
Same boat here. I’ve been wondering if it’s worth getting some sort of insurance on it just so I can be sure I get the full life out of it.
Motorola teamed up with GOS. Hopefully their future phones won’t cost as much as a house but it’s a start
There’s another post saying it’ll cost $1900; I’m willing to pay more but that is way too much.
Out of options, I’m genuinely considering the Fairphone 6+ now.
I will still wait until the price is officially announced, but I’m not too optimistic.
It’s listed at €1900 on the Motorola website in the country where I’m from. Nobody is going to pay that price.
Actually $1599.00 USD: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2026/11/motorolas-new-signature-27-has-it-all-if-you-can-stomach-the-1600-price-tag/ or https://www.androidheadlines.com/motorola-signature-27-price-release-date-pre-order

It’s 1500$
Im hopeful but not very optimistic about that relationship.
Stop recommending e-waste.
