When I think of someone addicted to meth, it’s someone that’s lost it all, or is in the process of losing it all. They have run out of favors and couches to sleep on for a night, they are unemployed, and they certainly have no money or health insurance to seek recovery. And of course I know there are “functioning” addicts just like there’s functioning alcoholics. Maybe my ignorance is its own level of privilege, but that’s what I imagine…

I agree with everything you said, except that it’s “bullying”. It’s not. He’s the bully. Musk is the richest man on the earth. He could go to the most expensive resort on the planet and the entire lives of him and his 20-something children would already be paid for. Instead, he gladly puts on a red hat, waltzes through our taxpayer-funded public services, firing hundreds of thousands and causing decades of damage. All with almost no real savings, even using DOGE’s own numbers. Again, no one voted for him, Congress didn’t approve of this. People pointing this out, and fighting back are not “bullying” him, it’s resistance. Oh, and he’s a Nazi.
