He just sells them drugs, they are not even friends.

That’s a weird statistic. This can simply mean that one guy is “in a relationship with an AI chatbot” and 1 in 5 boys know him.

Merz tried calling Sanchez after betraying him to cozy up to Trump but had the wrong number so only left a voicemail. I kid you not, he can’t even do basic level diplomacy.
Since the inquisition, right?
RIGHT?
In a row?

Not enough propaganda. They should call it ‘Beautiful, Clean, Greenest of the Green, Climate Protecting, Bird Saving, Woke Antifa Tears Inducing, All-American, Beef Loving, Lungs Restoring Coal’.

Exactly. Impossible to tell from this article alone.

Meh, it just says new exam was introduces and a lot of students failed. This just means the schools are not good at preparing students for this exam, not that they don’t prepare for practicing medicine. I would say it’s normal that universities will need time to adapt their courses to the requirements of the exams. Maybe students are not well prepared for the format or maybe the just need to put greater focus on different parts of the curriculum. I don’t think this means that graduates are somehow less prepared, just that the new exam is another barrier for them to begin practice which means it will slow down induction of new doctors into the workforce. Hopefully they will adapt fast and this will not have any long term repercussions.

Nobel Peace Prize is a joke. Fuck Nobel Prizes! Let’s just stop paying attention to them and focus on the Princess of Asturias Awards instead. I know it’s not perfect, among its laureates you will find Google, Woody Allen, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Marina Abramović but I think so far no war criminal got it. The Princess for sure has way more integrity than the assholes from Nobel committees.

43 is young? Thanks, I needed that.

Year old news :(

They were looking at a hair and saying that they are sure it belongs to the suspect. It was before DNA. It was later discovered that the FBI lab that did this “analysis” would simply say that “yes, it’s a match”. No science behind it. Many people ended in jail because of it, some were executed and later exonerated by DNA tests. There was a big scandal about it couple of years ago.

And hair analysis. And fibers. All popularized in US to get more convictions but rejected in Europe as junk science.

And doctor appointments, and driving them to school and from school and standing next to them watching them stand there not doing anything just in case the fall down and hit their head on the floor and cooking 3 different breakfasts for them because they changed their mind 3 times and so on and so on. Yeah, it’s very rewarding for some, not that appealing for others.

There must be a reason people don’t want children.
Yeah, kids cry and shit a lot. You don’t need a reason not to want them, you need a reason to have them.
Why would this be The Onion?

Whether or not all religions are equally useless for truth and morality is a big and absolute statement. I can’t say that I agree or disagree because I’m not familiar with every religion.
I don’t think you have to know all religions to be able to say that. You just need to know what religion is and how it works. Religion can’t be the source of truth because it’s based on faith, not truth. If you look for truth without any dogma restricting your research you’re a scientists, not a theologian. Religion can’t be the source or morality because it’s goal is to enrich and empower the people that control it, not to teach anything useful. If you teach about morality without demanding obedience and money from your followers you’re a philosopher, not a religious leader.

Exactly, genocides happen and no religion is good at preventing them. All religions are equally useless as sources of truth and morality. We should neither vilify or praise anyone for being religious or adhere to one religion of the other.
That’s a misleading title. AI is just the test topic. It’s like if lemmy demonstrated a proof of concept by showing “/c/privacy” and they said “it’s an aggregator of links about privacy”.
The idea is not bad actually. At small scale you can leave moderation to the community, like lemmy does. Once you get any sort of attention bots, spammers and scammers will flood in. There are many possible ways to fight it and having some sort of automated ranking is a valid idea. It’s a different concept than reddit and lemmy and I don’t think it would be a direct competitor but if done right it could be an interesting space to get news on specific topics.
