When a well meaning articulate thinker tries to discuss any matter of importance and uses a correct word, they find the person being spoken too misunderstands the topic because words mean something different to them.

Articulate intellectual discussion can’t disseminate to the public and compete with all the major news sources distorting language. Orwell warned us, but too many people can’t read.

I’m disapointed they didn’t mention the calibre. Was it a 50BMG cartridge? A 12.7mm machine gun shell or a 155mm artillery shell?
