I don’t know how much irony fits into an irony singularity, but Amazon is trying to make the most irony ever.

I used to be intrigued by tiny homes. They’re enough room for one or two people, but not a place I’d try to raise a kid.

I recently went from a 3k sq ft US home to a 1100sq ft apartment and this apartment feels big. The difference mostly centers around how much furniture and other home maintenance materials I used to have.

It also helps that we moved to a European city so we don’t have a car and related support equipment.

Looking at a 350 sq ft tiny home, if it was just down to myself and a partner, we could do it. The whole goal would be to not spent huge amounts of time at home, but to go to 3rd places and hobbies away from home. Rural or suburban living makes that harder than where we’re at now, but it’s doable.

I guess they’ve got spare time now that everyone in the Epstein-Trump files have been brought to justice for the child rape and Dow is over 50,000.

So, when the rich discovered that they could force us to have 80 hour work weeks because both adults in the home could work, prices suddenly climbed. Then, it turns out we used to rely on one of the adults in the home doing unpaid work (cooking, cleaning, shopping, house maintenance, and notably raising the children).

Recognizing that women should be treated as humans is mandatory. They should be able to be single or be the breadwinner while their spouse stays home.

Turning around and mandating that a family requires 80 hours per week of work to survive at the expense of everything else that made life worth living is crushing our ability to be humans with families.

Of course, the looming population bust due to overworking everyone is making governments and the rich fearful of their safety and continued personal enrichment, but it would require taxing the rich and making governments work for us to solve the problem so it’s likely just going to be a huge mess with untold suffering instead of a graceful shift to a humanistic world with healthy lives.

In all major US cities since the 1970’s that have a river in the downtown area, the percentage concentration of dihydrogen monoxide has been increasing! We keep finding more and more of it in parts per million in our river water. At what point will someone in our government stand up for us and say this is enough?!?

You know, if we made individual cars larger so they could hold more people or cargo, this idea could get really efficient!

He knows, but does he care? Does it actually matter to him? I have been watching and meeting all too many people who have no idea just how dangerous the world can be when there’s no rule of law and institutions protecting us. They want through life focusing on little personal gains and never truly understand how bad the world gets once Conservatives start showing their fascist foundations and the mask comes off.
