it’s hard to imagine the united states not using ukraine in the future as a proxy war zone to further weaken russia, so this makes me wonder if this is a gambit to light a fire on the feet of the eu to get them to purchase more from the american military industrial complex over the eu’s preference in waiting years for their own cottage military industrial complexes to catch up.
