3 months agoI mean, not really. This is weird shit to put in a legal document and is pretty pointless. It’s also just hard to read due to contrast issues (which can be particularly relevant depending on any disabilities of interested parties, etc.). Like I’m pretty sure there is text on there that does not meet WCAG guidelines.
It’s definitely not appropriate for a court document. I’d go farther and say putting anything to dramatically draw attention to oneself in a court document is inappropriate. That’s simply not what court documents are for. They should strive to be as mundane, uninteresting, an impartial as possible.
The introduction of flouride to drinking water saw a massive improvement in the public’s dental health across the board. It is still widely considered to be one of the greatest public health initiatives of the 20th century.
You should also keep in mind that drinking water always has some level of natural flouride in it. Just the concentration varies by region. Public health officials discovered that areas with higher amounts of natural flouride also had lower rates of cavities and tooth decay. So some cities have their water flouridated to bring their flouride content up to beneficial levels.
