We definitively know they cannot based on the experience in Ukraine. The US is able to produce interceptors in very small volumes per year, they’re now also hamstrung by China blocking exports of rare earths needed to make them. Also worth noting that it takes 2-4 interceptors per missile, to even attempt an interception. The math simply doesn’t work in US favor here.
I guess God will protect them once they run out. Or that’s what they must have thought because how delusional must you be to think that having more monopoly money will make you impervious to the humongous firepower that Iran has (and their ridiculous population advantage if this becomes a shooting war)

And also shipping? What is the turn-around time from US government approving the budget to interceptors actually in position?
