The empathy here is not forgetting that people died for those laws. I understand that people would rather risk death than be homeless, but going back to tenement halls is not the answer.

When capitalism gives nobody choices you dont get to decide the laws the people do. Revolutions have started for less.

I see, you want things to be even worse for the poor so they can have a revolution faster.

If we allow spaces like OP’s article to be the new bare minimum for rentable space, then that’s what corps will rent at apartment prices. It won’t bring the cost of housing down, it’ll just be another way to funnel money from the poor into the pockets of the rich, and people will die in the process. If you support that, you’re licking boots.

Are you stupid? For profit will make it worse for the poor dumbass. Its why capitalism is only short term oriented and why its forced to compromise on socialist practices. What do you think happens to everyones bank account living in a funnel system for 0.01% of the population? They are forced to work for the rest of there lives.

              Yeah, I’m stupid.

I’m so stupid I don’t understand how to more clearly state that no money should be required in exchange for permission to live here. It should not be a rental property. No profits should be made.

Can you understand my point now?
