One Nation is being heavily astroturfed by the media and Gina the Hutt’s bots on social media, so those in right wing echo chambers only hear about how much of a big win for them it was, not the fact that Labor has become the de facto default governing party.
That said, Labor can’t afford to ignore the way the political winds are blowing. They lost a lot more votes than expected in their heartland seats in Adelaide, so a less popular government might be at greater risk.
