Don’t like the ultra cutdown and monochrome aesthetics of the music apps anymore. I’ve been hunting for Y2K/retro skeuomorphism, not modern glassmorphism, gradients, glowing backgrounds, or another Spotify/YouTube Music clone. Think spinning 3D CDs, cassette tapes with moving reels, virtual CD shelves, animated vinyl records, physical buttons, interactive album collections, or scrapbook-like interfaces. Which has been upsetting because there is always a miss. Either it sits too closely with youtube music ( meaning just plays music videos) rather than displaying artist’s albums and their singles or EPs. Looking for:- 1.Proper artist pages, albums, singles, and discographies
2.Custom playlists
3.A standalone Android app, not a visualizer that requires another music player
The images attached are my ideal aesthetics, the 1st and the 4th image are interactive rolling and sliding CD animations.
Thank you🫶
Proper artist pages, albums, singles, and discographies
In an app? I’m not sure that I can think of one like that, especially with the Winamp skin style.
Honestly, it wouldn’t be too hard to find a PWA and reskin it yourself.

Embrace classic
Honestly, I’d love a Linux music player that supports WinAmp 5 skins.
I thought Audacious used to, but I could be wrong.
Nostalgia of winamp skins just hit https://skins.webamp.org/
1st and 4th image? I only see three, unless you include the yuguoh image in which case the fourth is Winalp which doesn’t have a CD animation at all…
I believe in the heart of the cards.I don’t have any Android apps for this. But I hope you can find an app like that, because frutiger aero apps on any platform these days, are sort of inconsistent to find.
2 is dedication, 3 is spam.
