I think he’s just projecting his personality on the AI. He’s an asshole that threatens people, so he suggests using that tactic because it works for him.
The “AI” acts scared, and he gets his sociopathic thrill of power over another. Of course, the AI just spews out the same things no matter how nice or shitty you are to it. Yet, the sociopath apparently thinks that they’ve intimidated an AI into working better. I guess in the same way that maybe some people saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ are attempting to manipulate the AI by treating it better than normal. Though, they are probably more people just using these social niceties out of habit, not manipulation.
So this sociopath is giving other sociopaths the green light to abuse their AIs for the sake of “productivity”. Which is just awful. And it’s also training sociopaths how to be more abusive to humans, because apparently that’s how you make interactions more effective. According to a techbro asshole.
Why is it not completely apparent to everyone that they’re replaceing scientists with complete morons. To destroy all these agencies as much as possible, and make them function as poorly as possible. That’s the plan. They’ve been doing it across agencies.
Qualified person? NO! Yes-man narcissist? Absolutely, do they have friends? We’ll bring them in, too.
Yet, still - the response is: “I was SHOCKED at what they said/did! Can they be that stupid?” Yes. Yes, they are. They always have been.
Yet, still - people want to believe in the best from people. That they aren’t trying to hurt and kill people on purpose for no good reason. Well, stop thinking that. They want to hurt and kill people, because they can profit off of it, and they can enjoy the suffering of others.
Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt. They are trying to stab you, they just aren’t close enough to do it, they don’t have a knife right now, but they know where to get one - and they don’t want to get caught. They might get that chance one day, and they’ll take that opportunity instantly. That’s their mindset. What’s yours? Your mindset is that you want to give them free healthcare, and better social services? Well, that’s not going to stop them either.
