how did it not throw up red flags all around letting this guy wear it around that machine.
He wasn’t allowed in the room.
His wife panicked in the MRI, he charged into the room he was told not to go Into.
Senior Chief Petty Officer. Starfleet is in my blood, and I’ve spent my entire adult life in service to boldly going.
Keiko and Molly are my favorite humans, but Transporter Room 3 will always be my favorite.
Just don’t ask who what’s in the pattern buffer.

Wow, I sure am glad I know where to avoid dirty mods for skyrim now.
I can bookmark it so I know not to go there!
But is it interactive?
Also I’m sure part of it for some people is the corruption of something that wasn’t originally smut.
Wow, that’s terrible! What mod is this? So I can avoid it? What a weird thing! That I’m definitely going to avoid and not go check out.
But I am a tad mystified. I do wonder what kind of lifestyle it is that leads a person to turn a videogame main menu into hardcore pornography.
It must be the author’s first day on the internet.
If the internet were banned globally, porn mags would immediately disappear from shelves, and anything up to and including national geographic where they show cultures where clothing is sparse would all be hard to find, as the porn starved masses come out of their jizz encrusted caves to find something to give them that little hit of dopamine and oxytocin.
NYS rangers
How did I miss that part? That’s on me.
Yeah state parks, rangers, and anything that positively manages government land has always gotten the short end of the stick. The state police aren’t as militarily kitted out as some local PDs, at least in my experience.
A state park near where I grew up was basically begging for volunteers because they didn’t have the budget to take care of the park more than 3ft from the parking lot. (mild exaggeration, but you get the idea)
This whole time I’ve been thinking its some local city cops with too much time and not enough training…
I’m sure their massively inflated budget can handle it. Presumably the hikers pay their taxes.
Taken to police… For wasting their time? I’m confused what actual harm they did.
Oh no they ate a fungus. Hardened criminals. Probably ms13. Gotta deport them now.
My first thought was “… Again? They need some better contraceptives” but no, it’s the same one… A shame, that would open the door for so many jokes.
That’s why I specified or wingtip vortex.
In some situations you can see a trail behind a wingtip that can persist. although doesn’t leave the huge vapor cloud that lingers for hours, I have heard plenty of people conspiracy nuts refer to them as “Chem trails” right along with the actual contrail. Living near an airport, you get all kinds of crazy.
If the state decides to ignore any kind of court telling them otherwise, then I would imagine Florida would no longer have flyovers from any airline, and any aircraft capable of producing a contrail or wingtip vortex would no longer operate in the state.
Goodbye florida airports, I guess.
Hi, gender is a spectrum and while I fully identify as male and straight*, I had long hair as a child. If my school had tried to cut my hair by force, I would have absolutely thrown hands, and I was not a small child. Apparently I pushed a teacher into a wall as a first grader but I have no memory of doing so.
Hair is not “gender conforming” unless you’re the most vanilla, thinks-flour-is-spicy, “mayonnaise has too much flavor” basic bitch in the universe. If you really think hair has two genders “long and short” then you are just the saddest sack of shit.
Hair is whatever the fuck you want it to be. I decided I didn’t want long hair anymore, so I started getting it cut short. I even had it around 1/4in at one point just because of how easy it was to be done with. Now it’s long because before I got married, my now-wife said she liked when it was longer, so I’m growing it out again until we decide it’s long enough or I get tired of it again. If I wanted to shave most of it right now, I can do that. Nobody controls my hair but me, and nobody has any say in how I keep it, short of safety concerns. (protip: hair ties and a hair net when working with rotary tools, once you’ve seen a video you never want it to happen to you)
Get the fuck out of here with this weak ass bullshit policing children’s hair.
They won’t be happy until everyone is a straight white silent and obedient clone of each other.
*It’s a spectrum, sometimes I want to feel pretty so if you had to stick me in a hole I’d say I’m straight but I’m sure someone could make a convincing argument that I’m at least a little fluid.
Companies sure so have a lot of “glitches” and “technical difficulties” when they’re introducing controversial features that forces it on a group of people, only to be nearly immediately removed with all kinds of excuses… And then the feature is forced for everyone within a few months.
Almost like it’s NOT unintentional, they’re NOT experiencing technical difficulties, and they’re actually just testing the waters before diving in, with neatly 0 intent to pull back unless the consumers put upenoigh of a fuss the company execs get scared.
There was on one that I’ve been in, not sure about this one.
From my understanding, when an MRI is emergency stopped it doesn’t stop immediately, and it causes a lot of damage, so staff are less likely to use it in an emergency. Stupid, yes. But when you’re worried about getting fired for hitting a button, you’re less likely to think of a situation as an emergency. You would think “chain strangling a man” constitutes an emergency though…
As for the staff not stopping the guy making a beeline for the door with more than just words, I’m not sure. I would prefer staff tackle me to the floor rather than let me blithely walk to my doom. Of course I’m only in my 30s…
The hospital is absolutely partly to blame, especially if they didn’t properly convey the danger beforehand. All 3 hospitals I’ve recieved an MRI from have been pretty insistent about making sure I have no metal on or around me before I go in the doors though.
I’d say it’s about 60/40 on the hospital.
