israel supporters loooooove to talk about all the Jewish Arabs who were persecuted across the middle east and sought refuge in israrel. but the ones who didn’t? they’re bombed like the rest.
israel and its supporters won’t even dare to admit they exist. i’ve seen people on mastodon straight up say that “Palestinian” and “Jewish” are two fundamentally separate identities and that someone can’t possibly be both.
I admittedly am not very well versed in israels insider history but during the creation of the state most people were european ashkenazi jews, and the arab Mizrahi jews faces severe discrimination and were sprayed pesticides and housed in camps and languages suppressed, and there were some serious allegations abt ethiopean jews about their donated blood being thrown and the state controlling their birth rates
