A couple things stand out to be from that response:
the original post doesn’t mention Republicans at all. It’s like someone making a post against dictatorships and getting an essay and how “these anti-Trump posts are unhelpful.”
If something so cartoonishly stupid or evil is so clearly about a given group or person, that’s an issue.
the reply literally says “they don’t want leopards eating faces, they just refuse to listen to people trying to stop leopards from eating faces” which for all practical purposes is the same thing. “We literally tried to stop this exact thing from happening that is now happening to you, and you refused to listen and made fun of us” is a fair criticism to make.
“they believe bad things will happen anyway” except the bad things that are currently happening were not happening before, and they were predicted to happen by the people trying to stop this that weren’t listed to. Citizens who haven’t been charged with crimes weren’t being deported before Trump took office. People said Trump would be a dictator and where dismissed as “fear mongers” by the people who thought "bad things happen anyway, don’t fight it’, and through their actions actively helped bad things happen. Which brings us to:
what are they suggesting people do? Pussy foot around the most aggressively rude and ignorant people who not only refused to listen but actively insulted those who tried to warn them this would happen? You think these people are going to listen if you keep turning enough cheeks? Man who’s wife was deported doesn’t regret voting for Trump
You try to meet someone supporting a fascist regime half way and they start stepping backwards. These are the people that when “first they came for the socialists” they cheered and celebrated. Next when they come for them I’m going to speak out, but I’m also going to tell them “this is the exact thing people were trying to warn you about!”
I have this view of some supporters who’ll logon to an ad-ridden Android phone to open Facebook while Fox News is on cable TV. They were still on the oil rig when the debates were live but they caught an AM radio kook give his summary on their way home.
They listened to perfectly as I preached to the choir. I failed to reach them. The Democrats failed to reach and connect with them.
Yeah, good idea, we can even make long lines of them in a well-organized convoy. Maybe the ones in front and back can control the ones in the middle.
Then to make sure they stay in formation, we can physically link them together, but with a bit of slack to turn and such.
In fact, we could even make special roads for these convoys so they get maximum fuel efficiency while also preventing them from accidentally drifting off of it. These roads would be exclusively used by these tesla convoys.
When these roads have to intersect with normal ones, we will give the convoys right of way, with some sort of movable barrier blocking the other cars from crossing.
Yeah, this idea is shaping up. Imagine all the people and cargo we could move with this hyper-efficient system.
Larger… You know, large cars really should have a semi standardized format, you know, so you always know what to look out for. Like containers! Imagine that, a container on wheels, it has so much space for people and cargo!
Can we have levers which toggle which direction the group of vehicles travel on? We could then rest people on different paths and have their loved ones make life altering decisions by choosing to pull or push the lever.
“I’m different, he wants to clean the dirty ones”
“why am I being loaded into a train I’M DIFFERENT”
“Excuse me, there seems to be a mistake…”
“No, no, BAD LEOPARD, eat those other faces instead!!”
Interesting hmm

Thank you!
One question/note:

FUCK
You think we’ll be using trains?
I think ICE uses planes.
Self driving teslas

I really enjoy those “tech bros reinvent…” memes
You know, if we made individual cars larger so they could hold more people or cargo, this idea could get really efficient!

dude went full adam something
Why not, it worked the first time around. If it ain’t broken…
Rail travel in the US is broken though
Yeah but this is the US.
And this is hypothetical. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Not for long.
To be honest, I’m actually really surprised we’re using planes and not trains, buses and ships
